Audition Locations
All Southport Auditions will take place at the Southport Congregational Church, located at 524 Pequot Ave, Southport, CT 06890.

All Hamden Auditions will take place at the Unitarian Society of New Haven, located at 700 Hartford Turnpike, Hamden, CT 06517.

Live auditions are strongly recommended. However, in the event that you cannot take a live audition, please submit a recording (VHS, CD, or DVD). Recorded materials must be received no later than Monday, March 22nd, 2010.

Audition Requirements:
Live auditions: Please prepare a solo piece representative of your level of playing, and a major or minor scale of your choice. You will also be asked to play a short sight-reading excerpt. The auditions will be approximately 10 minutes in length. Please allow enough time to warm-up and to take a 10-minute theory placement test before or after you play.

Recorded auditions: Please submit a letter of recommendation from your private teacher, along with a recording of two contrasting solo works representative of your level of playing, and a major or minor scale of your choice. .
