Audition Dates:
Sunday, March 2, 12-4pm (strings only)
Friday, March 7, 5-8pm (strings only)
Sunday, March 9, 12-4pm (strings and piano)
Sunday, March 16, 12-4pm (strings only)

All auditions will take place at Neighborhood Music School, located at 100 Audubon Street in New Haven, Connecticut.

Live auditions are strongly recommended. However, in the event that you cannot make a live audition, please submit a recording (VHS, CD, DVD, or audio cassette). Recorded materials must be received no later than Saturday, March 15, 2008.

Audition Requirements:
Live auditions: Please prepare a solo piece representative of your level of playing, and a major or minor scale of your choice. You will also be asked to play a short sight reading excerpt. The auditions will be 10 minutes. Please allow enough time to warm up and to take a 10-minute theory quiz before or after you play.

Recorded auditions: Please record a solo piece representative of your level of playing, and a major or minor scale of your choice. In addition, please submit a letter of recommendation from your private teacher.
